We plan to follow along with the regular Rutherford County public school calendar and Wednesday, August 4th was our first day. It was a short day, yet we had a lot of fun. The children made their first journal entry, with the exception of Chase. He is still learning his letters. He is starting school for the first time this year., Kindergarten. He is very advanced though, so I am sure he will be making journal entries before too long. The kids also decorated their cubbies, this is a bucket that will hold all their tools they will use each day and stay under their desks. They enjoyed this very much.
